About Wenny
As a Canadian-born Chinese, I deeply understand how our cultural and personal experiences shape our lives, and I bring this rich perspective into my work as a therapist. My own journey through life’s uncertainties, healing, and the joys and challenges of motherhood has further enriched and shaped my perspective as a therapist. Combining this with my Master’s in Counselling Psychology and my experience as a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I blend academic knowledge with real-life insight to offer compassionate and supportive guidance in our sessions.

In our sessions, you’ll find a safe and nonjudgmental space where I listen with empathy and curiosity. My goal is to help you connect with your inner self and explore your emotions and experiences. I integrate evidence-based approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness to foster self-awareness, strengthen the mind-body connection, and make meaningful changes in your life.

My person-centered approach means I meet you where you are. I offer support and validation while gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck. You are the expert of your own life, and I respect your values, choices, and beliefs. I am dedicated to helping you bridge the gap between your inner world—thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and values—and your outer experiences, uncover your strengths, and build positive relationships with yourself and others.

Together, we'll navigate the path of self-exploration, personal growth, and change, with humility and compassion. Remember, you're not alone – I'm here to support you every step of the way.
